As I popped over to my blog, my reaction could be described as the classic reaction one has when you see something you’ve avoided seeing but knew you had no choice but to see it kind of a reaction. Yes, I hang my head in shame. I haven’t posted since October 20th. What kind of blogger have I been? A busy one!

Since my last post, Halloween came and went, just as fast as the candy, I might add. And here we are, a week away from Thanksgiving! Good Gracious!

So when I say busy, I mean I’ve been hard at work with revision after revision. I’m feeling confident with how my novel is shaping out, though I do have a ways to go yet before it’s completed. And I’m getting there with the help of my imagination and my critique partners. My writing/revisions are one thing. I also had the opportunity to zip over to Raleigh for our sister chapter’s monthly meeting, The Heart of the Carolinas Romance Writers. What a terrific bunch of authors. NYT Bestselling author, Virginia Kantra was the guest speaker. She’s the author of Children of the Sea series. You can connect with her on her Facebook author page or hop over to her website: www.VirginiaKantra.com.

My kids, my husband, my writing, my household duties, my friends, my sisters in writing, my writers meetings, the religious education class I co-teach, my workouts and walking schedule have all kept me just a tad busy. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. When it rains, it pours — MANY BLESSINGS :0) !! Come on Christmas! Bring it! I got room to squeeze you in.

Later folks.
