During a two week long break between the 2012 academic spring and summer session, I read Lara Adrian’s Darker After Midnight. Her latest installment in her Midnight Breed series is engaging and seething hot! If you like action tied with sexy vampires out to protect mankind, and dabbled with a little romance, then this series is for you! My only advice is that you begin reading the first book entitled Kiss of Midnight.

I also had the pleasure of reading J. R. Ward’s latest in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It’s a different sort of vampire tale but delicious nonetheless. You’ll be met with conflict and romance galore, as well as LOL sarcasm. If you love reading paranormal, then I suggest you check out other titles by the above named authors.
